Do you enjoy watching tennis. For me it's one of those sports that I can take or leave, but I'd imagine even the biggest tennis fan might have found the longest tennis match ever a bit too much.

I won't spoil the surprise of just how long the match took or when, but I will say it took days to complete.

Fortunately it's only a short dictation and it won't take you anywhere near as long to get to the end.

In professional tennis up to 2021 the record for the longest ever match was set at Wimbledon in 2010. The match was played between the American John Isner and the French player Nicolas Mahut. In total the match lasted for 11 hours and five minutes, with the games being played across three days. The eventual winner was John Isner, with the final set score ending at 70 to 68.

Now listen to the slower version and type what you hear into the text box.
