A high scoring soccer game is usually very exciting for spectators to watch. However, I suspect that wasn't the case with the match that saw the highest ever score between two club sides.

Incredibly, the highest ever score in a soccer game between two club teams is 149 to 0. The game was played in 2002 and won by AS Adema, who scored exactly no goals during the match. Their opponents, SO l'Emyrne, scored 149 own goals. This was in protest at a penalty being awarded in their previous match which their players felt was unfair.
